The powerpoint covers: Competition Differentiation Ways to compete Competitive market Plenary questions from previous topic learning 1.1-1.2 The activity: The activity is a market research activity, supermarket research is in the document, students need to decide what kind of a supermarket they could create in order to beat the competition. The market research is already done, so access to computers isn’t necessary, however it might make for a stronger lesson. The students need to answer questions and also sketch out designs.

Primarily created for Edexcel, this is one of my latest resources. 1.4.2 - Business location. Included is a lesson plan - filled out with differentiation, power point which will guide the teacher through the task, this also includes modeling of what the students need to do for the different levels e.g. assistant for low ability, manager for middle ability and CEO for higher ability.
